Great leaders build
things that last.
I believe the best leaders are clear before they’re brilliant, grounded before they’re visionary, and consistent before they’re successful. I work with leaders, coaches, and the teams around them. We are intentional in reducing confusion and moving people with more than just inspiration, we seek installation.
Honest talks for rooms that
are ready to move
I don’t do motivational fluff. I believe people deserve honesty, practical frameworks, and someone who’s willing to sit in the hard conversation with them, whether it’s a boardroom of eight or a conference hall of two thousand.
Whether I’m sitting across from one person or standing in front of a crowd, the goal is the same: make people feel at home, then give them something they can put to work on Monday morning.
Every talk is built on The ASK System — a framework rooted in the belief that real change is installed, not inspired. It works because it meets people where they are and gives them a shared language to move forward together.
A shared language for
human development
Three instruments. Four domains. One framework that gives leaders, coaches, and organizations a way to see where people are — and what to do about it.
Personal Profile (PPI)
This is not a personality test. It is a profile of what moves you, what build you up and what to look out for that could pull you down. No stereotypes here just clear insight and next steps
Leadership Growth (LGI)
Whether you are building your leadership chops or a seasoned professional, the LGI gives you not only insight but a clear path to more impactful leadership.
Team Dynamics (TDI)
A powerful snapshot of the entire team dynamic, not just who is good at what, but where this shows up in actual work. This is no ordinary team insight tool. - Get a demo and see.
Three ways in — depending
on where you are
Not every organization needs the same thing. Some need clarity. Some need coaching infrastructure. Some need the whole system installed from the ground up. That’s why we built three tracks.
Advantage
For leaders and teams who need a jumpstart — ASK Profile assessments, a focused workshop, and a clear-eyed look at where you are and what’s next. This is the fastest path to clarity and the foundation everything else is built on.
You walk away with insight, direction, and a plan — not a binder that collects dust.
Edge
For organizations ready to develop coaching capacity internally. Edge combines the full ASK instrument suite with structured development across all four domains — Clarity, Curiosity, Commitment, and Consistency — plus coach certification for your leaders.
This is where individual development becomes organizational capability.
Install
For organizations that want lasting change — not a one-time event. Install is a full engagement: vision-mission-values alignment, ASK instruments deployed across teams, coach development, performance management integration, and ongoing support.
I’ve done this for cafés, dental practices, nonprofits, and heritage centers. The framework scales because it’s built on people, not industry.
Did you know? We also build the tools
As a web developer and designer in my early business days, I have solved problems businesses face with people and processes. While my personal focused has been leadership and teams, I have kept my hands in this world. To support the on-going work of coaches, trainers, and consultants we've built assessment engines, A lean CRM, a modular business management platform with enterprise level features that don't break the budget.

twice and act now.
There is more to life than reading books. My objective with writing is simple. Solve a problem. It may be a problem some do not see or one we all face every day. Check out our new and coming soon books for you.
Serving is at the heart of leadership.
I’ve always believed that success without generosity is just accumulation. A portion of every engagement goes toward leadership development in underserved communities, youth mentorship, and ministry work.
Whether it’s coaching cohorts for nonprofit leaders, supporting community development in East Tennessee, or investing time in faith-based organizations — the goal is always the same: help people build the ability to help themselves.
A little about Glenn
I started out as a professional musician. Then I built a business and sold it. Then I built another one. Somewhere in between I became a coach, then an author, then a framework architect, then — out of necessity — a software builder. Five businesses, four countries, and a lot of hard-earned lessons later, the common thread is still the same: I help people figure out what’s next and actually get there.
I founded RedShift Consulting in 2010 after selling my first company in North Carolina. I created the ASK System because I needed a language for the work I was doing, and nothing on the market fit. I built the software platforms because the tools I needed didn’t exist. That’s sort of how everything I do starts — with a real problem that needs a real solution.
I live in Maryville, Tennessee, at the foot of the Smoky Mountains. When I’m not building or coaching, I’m playing music, learning Russian (very slowly), or sitting on a porch asking good questions.
Let’s figure out what’s next
